Chichén Itzá

It is located east of Yucatan, on the road to Cancun, 120 km from Merida. The grandeur of the heritage of Chichen Itza goes beyond the Main Concourse, the Observatory, the Sacred Cenote, the Ball Court and the Temple of a Thousand Columns. This archaeological site contains the most imposing of all: the Pyramid of Kukulkan, where twice a year, during the spring and fall equinoxes, a magical play of light and shadow creates the appearance of a snake gradually doing down the stairs of the pyramid to complete the iconic feathered serpent.
