Visit San Felipe, located in the north coast of Yucatán, it is mainly a fishing port and it is considered one of the cleanest municipalities in the state, and the variety of colorful wooden houses outstands.

The boat tour starts in the port and goes to a site in the sea where there is a ship wreckage which carried cement. Before getting down from the boat, your guide will tell you in detail what happened to the ship. When you arrive to the site, they will provide you with a snorkeling equipment so that you can see the cement bags laying on the bottom of approximately 6.5 ft. Due to the bundles, fish keep swimming around them, so you will have an excellent view underwater.

The second stop is Playa Bonita, which in alliance with Mexico’s Coastal States, is certified as platinum beach, so it is distinguishable for its scenic beauty, environmental excellence, safety, facilities, signage with relevant information, and universal accessibility. You can enjoy the transparent waters with white sand, and you do not need to worry about the depth, as this beach is quiet and shallow. Watch the change of colors in the sea, take a picture in the sea on the letters forming the word “Felipe”. After a plunge in the sea, relax in a palapa, there are sunbeds available and you can buy food and beverages if you ask for them before your visit, otherwise, there is a small store selling sodas and snacks. Moreover, there are kayaks for rental and on one side you can buy handcrafts offered by locals.

At the end of the boat tour, and as an extra, you can visit Punta Morena, a 0.3-mile pathway going into the mangroves and wetlands thickness, where you can see fauna from the port.

It includes boat, guide, palapa, pathway, and beach. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing, swimming suit, and ecological sunscreen.
