Located two hours away from Mérida, you can find the City of Kings: Tizimín, where religious faith is overflown every January 6th, due to the presence of the Three Wise Men, apart from being considered as the cattle capital in Yucatán and having one of the most beautiful ports in Yucatán, El Cuyo Port.

The city’s museum has an exhibition of items from the pre-Hispanic times, colonial period, and modern era, from Tizimín and its surroundings. The objective of this museum is to show part of the city’s cultural heritage, you can admire ancient stone items, tools, shotguns, music equipment, shells, pots, sewing machines, gala suits, among other things. Service is usually provided by Tizimín’s expert and historian, Master Luis Pérez Salazar.
