The Secretariat for Tourism Development of the Government of the State of Yucatan (SEFOTUR), with address at Calle 5-B No. 293 Planta Alta, Colonia Revolución, C.P. 97118, Mérida, Yucatán, México, is responsible for the treatment of the personal data that you provide us, which will be protected in accordance with the provisions of the General Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Obliged Subjects, the Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Obliged Subjects of the State of Yucatan, and other applicable regulations.

What personal data do we collect and for what purposes?

Your personal data will be used in order to attend and follow up on the requests that are sent through the contact forms of the following websites of the Ministry of Tourism Development:

Additionally, the personal data will be used for statistical purposes in which the information will not be associated with the owner, therefore it will not be possible to identify it.

  • City and country of origin or Institution where you work.

The treatment of your personal data is carried out based on article 68 of the General Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information, article 71 of the Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information of the State of Yucatan, article 1 and 2 of The Law on Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Obliged Subjects of the State of Yucatan. Article 493 Section XXV, Article 495 Sections XV and XVI Article 497 Section I, of the Yucatan Public Administration Code Regulations.

Transfer of personal data

It is reported that no transfers of the personal data collected will be made except those that are required by a court order, resolution or well-founded and motivated mandate of a competent authority.

Where can I exercise my ARCO rights?

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, in accordance with article 16 second paragraph of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, as well as Title Three, Chapters I and II of the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Obligated Subjects.
