No. 040 Zazil Tunich Cave Cenote

In Zazil Tunich nature created art works and today the world can admire them. In a path of 656 ft and 65 ft underground you will find impressive formations of stalactites and stalagmites that will guide you to the deepest part of Xibalba (Mayan underworld). In the last part you will find a cenote of sacred shallow waters, just after passing by the Mayan Kiss, a very narrow pathway formed by the whimsical inclination of a giant stalagmite and the cave of the Alux (grotto guardian), which is located exactly in the platform of the Lords of Xibalba.
