The Bicentenario "Animaya" Zoo Park was inaugurated on April 30, 2010, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence. With an environment similar to a safari, you can see different species like ducks, pelicans and geese in the lake, as well as three small islands with tall trees where you can see some monkeys, you can also see the lions, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, ostriches, and deers’ village; it is divided into three meadows: American, Euro-Asian, and African.

Some of the attractions in this park are the safari tour in a small bus, the catamaran tour in the lake, and the look-out, which is in a great Mayan stele with a height of 116.4 ft, to observe the panoramic view of all the place.
