Panucho pizza is an innovative Yucatecan dish that emerged as a result of the economic consequences caused by one of the hurricanes that hit the Yucatan Peninsula. Adapting to the ingredients available in the Cobá family's home, panucho pizza was created in 2002. The pizza maintains a tomato sauce base and is filled with roasted chicken, beans, ham, cheese, avocado, and pickled onions as accompaniments. Currently, Jacqueline, one of the daughters, sells this dish in Pisté. You can visit on certain designated days of the week or place an order for specific days. Don't miss out on trying this option, whether you're craving pizza or a panucho.
