Deysi Marrufo Vargas, a traditional cook from Telchac Puerto, is the owner of the restaurant "La Picuda." She started as an assistant and now shares a wide variety of dishes, many of which she has modified and created a fusion of flavors, such as the pulpo en su tinta (octopus in ink) and the queso relleno de mariscos (cheese stuffed with seafood). Her intention is to satisfy new palates and those who visit her restaurant. Deysi has been interested in the culinary field for many years and participated in a gastronomic competition organized by the municipality of Telchac, where she presented her unique queso relleno de mariscos dish. This dish has become her representation in the seafood culinary world, attracting countless people to taste her culinary skills.
