Filux lab starts as an initiative from the International Lights Festival Mexico. Due to the firm conviction of consolidating a local talent seedbed with its own identity, the first laboratory, unique in the world, committed to the experimentation, discussion, production, and exhibition of art focused in the language of light and films, was designed.
Based in a colonial house downtown, Filux Lab takes advantage of the place encouraging cultural exchange among artists, experts, and different kinds of public, including tourists that like different experiences.
This 2021 you can see the exhibition of “Acuíferos Oníricos” (Surreal Aquifers), from which the following art installations are outstanding: “cuenta regresiva” (countdown), “monocromo” (monochrome), and “manantial” (spring), showing the different states of water (cenote, swamp), highlighting its importance for human beings, all these combining sight, sound, and light involving visitors is a completely different experience, rewarding, and highly sensorial.
You can host events in this place, it offers private tours and it is an ideal stage for pictures. Tour around facilities is included, guided tour only if required.
