Guided tour to visit the place where the empirical Mayan researcher Don Vicente Martín Güemes lived and established his legacy, a space to confirm and value the knowledge of the Mayan people.  Quinta Haaltunha is located at Nolo village, in the municipality of Tixkokob, Yucatán, 12.4 miles from Mérida. When arriving to the place, you will find a ritual table where offerings to place’s guardians (aluxes) are made, as well as different Mayan ceremonies.

Pay special attention to the resting chair, built of stones from the region, which is oriented from north to south, as it is the best posture so that the body rests and be relaxed, surrounded by lush vegetation and positive energy that you will feel when been in chac mool position. A mural describes the Mayan world, it is painted with a bas-relief technique, there is a replica of the Chichén Itzá pyramid, where you can see the same effects of light and shadow during the equinoxes and solstices, and an offering from the Tibet’s monks are part of the experiences when seeing the legacy of Don Vicente, a master of the Mayan culture.
