At the terrace of Río Lagartos Hotel, the highest place of the village, and with a view to the town and to the estuary, they have a musical trio playing traditional Yucatecan Trova, while you watch the sunset, dinner is optional á la carte, but you can ask for the Chef’s suggestions of the day. Once the sun disappears from Río Lagartos and is dark, you can start the experience of Astro Tourism with a certified astronomer who will guide you about constellations, stars, or some daily events like star shower, meteor shower, eclipses, and even observation of some planets, depending on the weather and the season of the year.
