Homúnja eco-park has its sui generis cenote called Wolpoch, an enclosed-type cenote, which is exquisitely illuminated and decorated with ancient stone sculptures which represent the Mayan underworld, what makes it not only an incredible artwork sculpted by nature along millions of years, but the exhibition of sculptures made by ancient Yucatecan stonemasons, also makes it a sacred place for the ancient Mayas in a museographic hall, as it also has imprintings made by ancient inhabitants of the Mayab, as part of a ritual. The formation is classified as an enclosed one, and the entrance is through comfortable stairs of facing stones. After descending 16.4 ft and getting to the first look-out, it is possible to see the size of all the areas, where in the middle you can see the roots of an impressive Ficus tree, which due to the position of its fine and strong roots in a circular way, there is a space between them, making possible to sit down there to recharge energy. This cenote is inclusive because, apart from its easy access, the depth of its blue waters does not go beyond 8.2 ft. all the cave is around 7,534.74 sq ft and the body of water is 1,076.39 sq ft.
