Chunkuy Cenote adds to Cuzamá’s marvelous cenotes, an area full of cenotes which will catch your eye. Cenotes offer in Yucatán continues growing with wonders like Chunkuy. Cuzamá has several cenotes, among which you can find this one. This place is one if the new treasures in the village, as it was opened in 2021. To get to it, you must go down to the cave through wooden stairs, there you will see a poplar tree guarding the entrance, which is spectacular. When starting the descent, you will not imagine the size of this cenote, it will impress you. Once inside, you will admire this incredible cenote with crystalline waters and spectacular stone formations, if you arrive early, you can listen to the birds going in circles, ready to go outside, a beautiful natural show.
