In this experience, you can observe and take pictures from birds of three different ecosystems (coastal dune, beach, and mangrove). The tour starts walking on the coastal dune, where you can picture hummingbirds, Yucatán wrens, Yucatán jays, mockingbirds, Yucatan gnatcatchers, quails, tropical mockingbirds, tropical kingbirds, among others. Then, at the beach you can watch many beach species and during the winter many migratory species.
To continue with the tour, you will have a short transportation in a vehicle to get to the point where you will get on a boat and navigate until getting to a nesting sanctuary of more than twelve diverse aquatic species like cormorants, herons, shovelers, ibis, the great horned owl, and the great-tailed grackle. You will navigate around the mangrove’s isle, where the ideal place for photo shooting is located, while you listen to the explanation from the specialized guides.
