The snorkeling activity takes place in a site of the sea where the depth is around 13.1 ft. There, you will be able to see a British vapor ship which sank many years ago. Guides will tell you the history of this ship, and while you snorkel, they will point you out the most outstanding characteristics of it. You will also see a wide variety of marine species of the ocean, distinct kinds of fish, and if you are lucky, even sea turtles.
This activity becomes incredible in sunny days, as the sunlight illuminates perfectly all the ship, and, as it is shallow, you can clearly watch the sea bottom, the best thing is that in Yucatán, most of the time is sunny, so you do not have to worry about this issue.
