Include a beautiful cenote in your tourist experiences bucket list, this time we recommend Pool Uinic cenote, a small but gorgeous cenote with illumination inside, of shallow crystalline waters, with a wide garden with trees and fruit trees which you will cross to discover this natural wonder.

Even though it is small, it is lovely. To get to the shore you must descend carefully through stone stairs, and at the end there is a cave you can explore by scuba diving with the support of a certified diver who knows the place.

The walls have stalagmites which are admired by visitors during their stay, there is also a tree emerging from the inside of the cenote to the surface. As it is an illuminated cenote, it is also visited at night, until 10 pm.

Located just 30 minutes away from Chichen Itzá, you can find Chihuan Cenote, a wonderful natural place, considered as one of the safest and most beautiful in the State.

In this experience, you can observe and take pictures from birds of three different ecosystems (coastal dune, beach, and mangrove). The tour starts walking on the coastal dune, where you can picture hummingbirds, Yucatán wrens, Yucatán jays, mockingbirds, Yucatan gnatcatchers, quails, tropical mockingbirds, tropical kingbirds, among others. Come and enjoy a visit to a Mayan hut called "Ú Najhil Úuchben Hanal" Mayan village, where you will see the process to prepare the pibil chicken and the sikil pak, a Yucatecan food made with pumpkin seeds and tomato). You can participate in the elaboration, from getting the ingredients, making hand-made tortillas, grounding spices on the metate (mealing stone), and tasting both dishes.

You will also listen to the explanation of an altar to baptize corn and (depending on the season, you may offer the sacá, made with nixtamalized corn and previously grounded and mixed with water and honey).
