Enjoy a wonderful experience at Ú Najhil Úuchben Hanal, where mestizas will welcome you into their Mayan hut and with their help, you will participate in the process of making chicken pibil cooked in the pib (underground oven), handmade tortillas, and sikil pak (Yucatecan snack), and finally taste the incomparable flavour of traditional dishes. Some of the ingredients they use are harvested in their backyard and you will also learn about the altar to baptize the corn (depending on the season, the saká, a drink made from nixtamalized corn, may be offered).
