The Xbatun Ancestral Kitchen Village offers a gastronomic experience in an authentic Mayan village, where you will be involved in the preparation of four types of dishes, three meatless appetizers: sikil pak, encamizado, and dzotobilchay; and a main course: chicken pibil. In addition, you will prepare a delicious dessert with cocoa. Following the ancestral recipes of authentic dishes from traditional Mayan cuisine, you will be assisted by traditional cooks, who will take you to the backyard to collect the ingredients you will use for the dishes and teach you step by step the preparation of each one, so that you can prepare your own food and drink. A unique space where food preparation becomes enjoyable and a transcendental experience.
