Sikil pak is a snack that is characteristic of Yucatecan cuisine, it is one of the most popular and delicious, and its preparation is very easy. To make it, ingredients such as ground pumpkin seeds, red tomato, green chilies, chives, and cilantro are used, which give it an appetizing aroma; all of the above leads to a moderately thick sauce that serves as a dip to eat with tortilla chips, and despite the chilies, the spiciness is minimal but with a lot of flavour.
