At the Lool-Hà Meliponary, located in the Magical Town of Maní, guided tours and ancestral ceremonies in the Mayan language are offered to share the importance of the world of Melipona bees. A new activity to experience at the meliponary is the tasting of Melipona bee propolis liquor, which stands out for its woody, citrusy, and minty notes, as well as its astringent flavour. This liquor is mixed with pineapple juice, sweet orange, and a touch of blueberries, resulting in a refreshing drink called Mucen, named after the Mayan god of bees, Ah Mucen Kaab. It is ideal to enjoy during the tour or at the end of the activities.
