Doña Georgina Pech Moo, originally from Izamal, is one of the traditional cooks in this Magical Town known as the yellow city. Since she was very young, at the age of 12, Doña Gina, as she is affectionately known, has been dedicated to preparing various traditional dishes, which she learned from the teachings of her grandparents and her mother. Currently, for the past 15 years, she has been a part of the Kinich restaurant, where she prepares dishes such as relleno negro (black stuffing), queso relleno (stuffed cheese), cochinita pibil, and sopa de lima (lime soup), as well as Yucatecan snacks such as salbutes, panuchos, among others, adding that seasoning that characterizes Yucatecan cuisine.
