The Xtampú Saltworks is a pink paradise located in the Emerald Coast, between the Port of Telchac and the municipality of Dzemul. Explore the Mayan saltworks and observe the salt ponds, which are a perfect place to learn about the traditional process of salt cultivation and harvesting in the region, dating back to the time of the ancient Mayan ancestors. In the 20th century, this practice thrived in the coastal area, in what is now called the Pink Lagoon.
