Coconut horchata is a traditional beverage from the Yucatán Peninsula, made with coconut, rice, coconut milk, water, cinnamon, and sugar. To prepare it, the coconut is peeled, washed, and grated, while the rice is cooked. Then, all the ingredients are blended together until fully integrated.
