The Merci restaurant is known for its breakfasts and lunches made with 100% Yucatecan ingredients, combined with French and American techniques, and entirely homemade on a daily basis. It was inaugurated in March 2014 by chef and owner Regina Escalante Bush. Among its menu offerings, you can find the fusion dish: pumpkin seed and almond croissant, made with Yucatecan pumpkin seeds, almonds, wheat flour, sugar, butter, and egg. The croissant is prepared naturally and then filled with a mixture of pastry cream, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. It is finally garnished with sliced fruits. Enjoy its crispy texture and smooth fruit filling! You can find this unique dish at one of their two available locations, one in Montes de Ame and the other in downtown Mérida.
