Founded in 1973, the bakery and pastry shop San Martín has been passed down from generation to generation, starting with Mr. Pedro Pech and currently managed by his son, Mr. Martín. Their specialty has always been cinnamon bread, which is also prepared with almond or sweet potato. Traditionally, these breads are ordered for engagement ceremonies, mainly in the villages. These breads are known as "pan bueno" (good bread) because they are served on important occasions, offering a high-quality bread made in a wood-fired stone oven. During your visit to Espita, don't forget to try the "pan bueno" and their assorted breads. The bakery is located on one of the main streets, so it will be on your way!
