Mayti 27 is a lovely café located in the municipality of Tixpéhual, born as an entrepreneurial venture as a token of love from grandchildren to their grandparents. Currently, it offers an extensive menu of food and drinks. Among their new creations, they present the Banana Cremita. This dessert has a creamy, slightly thick texture, where the main ingredient is the manzano banana harvested in their backyard; other ingredients include edam cheese, pumpkin seeds, among others. The dessert is plated in a jícara, which is a fruit cultivated in the peninsula, and harvested for use as a dish for food or drinks. The dessert presentation is accompanied by a caramel crust on top, fresh fruits, mint leaves, and toasted pumpkin seeds. A dessert with a bittersweet flavour from the red fruits and a traditional taste from the toasted pumpkin seeds, a sweet and refreshing combination you must try.
