Inspired by the iconic and representative dish of Yucatecan cuisine, the "Huevos Motuleños," Chef René Chuc May, originally from Hunucmá and currently the chef of Hotel Antelar Casa Destino, triumphs in the First Yucatecan Pinchos and Tapas Contest, presenting the winning tapa named "Sincretismo zacmotul." This tapa combines Yucatecan and Spanish ingredients such as quail eggs, serrano ham, Edam or Dutch cheese, chaya, plantain, cooked beans, red onion, tortilla and max chilli to delight the palate with a mix of salty, creamy, sweet, and spicy flavours. This dish will be featured on the menu of Hotel Antelar for one year, where you can enjoy this award-winning tapa. Additionally, the establishment will be adorned with a commemorative plaque celebrating the victory.
