An experience where you can prepare and taste a dish from the region based on ground pumpkin seed, in which traditional knowledge from Mayan wisdom is mixed with ingredients from the area such as colis, bitter orange, achiote, habanero chilli, as well as ingredients from the milpa such as pumpkin and corn. The process starts with a welcome, lighting the firewood stove, explaining the origin of the ingredients found in the milpa, collecting the ingredients from the area, participating in the toasting and grinding of the pumpkin seeds (hand mill), and then extracting the oil from the ground pumpkin seed and shaping it into small balls, which will be added to the dish. During the cooking process, you will tour the area to learn about medicinal plants; afterwards, you will return to the k'óoben (kitchen) to make handmade tortillas and taste the delicious kaaxil sikil soup.
